Yay first to post here!

Anyway, I loved Dan in Ghostbusters (I and II). Ray was cool, and very funny. My favorite quote from him is:

"You've got to try this pole! I'm gonna get my stuff!" :) :D

He put abit of weight on though didn't he!

Havn't seen Ghostbusters for a while (about 3-4 years), better catch up on it.

Yeha, for the 2nd one he did gain a bit of wait. but he still played out the character, and the plot line was that they all took straight jobs and didn’t have to worry about like chasing ghosts in the movie, so its normal for somebody considering that circumstances to gain wait. For BB2000 he lost a Whole lot of wait like him from Grosse pointie Blank, he was big in that. But Dan could still play the character perfectly. He lost a crap load of wait for BB2000, and looks healthier too. Then in Earth Vs Spider in 2001 he like ballooned up again. O and Can someone tell me why he decided to do that movie Earth vs. spider pleas back to my subject. Since that movie and has been up and down on the scale and when I saw him this December at the Atlantic City gig. He was huge I mean you wouldn’t believe it was the same man. But his ability to still play the roll is amazing. Jim Belushi looks good for a man his age too but I am talking about Danny Not Jimmy. I just hope he still stays healthy considering a work and all the business stuff going down now with all the new HOBs around. People invest so much time into their work they do not have enough time to help themselves.

In GBII they didn't take straight jobs to keep from chasing ghosts, they were ordered to close down by the city after basically going bankrupt. THEN they took straight jobs (except Pete Venkman as reporter, who just never does anything without a twist anyhow).

Dan playing Ray is such a totally different, REALISTIC character over any others he's ever played. Elwood has a lot of theatrics behind his personality, but Ray just seems so much like someone you might know and is so sincere. Same for Winston, too. Pete and Egon are both characters straight out of Hollywood and are too theatrical: smart alec playboy and the brain.

Do I like Ray over Elwood? Not on your life, but I love how he's more human.

Stantz: But at 19%?! You didn't even bargain with the guy!

Spengler: Ray, for your information, the interest rate alone for the first 5 years comes to $95,000...

Hehe :D

Regards,

Yickle.

I noticed Geneen (the secratary), looked a bit different from the 1st to 2nd movie also. Bill Murrayhad a good quote "Lets show this prehistoric bitch how we do things downtown." It's not Dan but it is a good qoute.

You know I've always loved Danny's eyebrows he has great eyebrows. They so full of character. The commercials in GB 1 & 2 always cracked me up they are so corny: "We're ready to believe you!"

He's got this Groucho Marx expression that's hilarious. After the three of them walk into the dining room of the hotel, that's the look they were going for (Egon, Pete, and Ray) and they nailed it. It was hilarious.

Danny is just great all around in Ghostbusters. And yes, next to Belushi, he has the greatest eyebrows :)

Great eyebrows. Ever see that mouth though? I seriously think that sometimes he looks like he could be some evil clown. I'm sorry but he does.

I don't think he looks like an evil clown. I like his lips. I think Dan is attractive. Even now that he is older I still think he is handsome. :)

Dan Aykroyd rules on GHOSTBUSTERS, and by knowing he created the Gb concept... makes me think of him like a God... Ghostbusters is my fave movie ever, I have watched that movie more than 500 times... I try to watch it monthly... at least :D .
