This is from November 4, 2004:
On Nov 4th, Dan Aykroyd visited Pat's Blues Show on Sirius 29 to celebrate his new book "Elwood's Blues - Interviews with The Blues Legends and Stars".
Some surprises were promised, and they sure were delivered, as Dan brought with him a band consisting of some pretty legendary players themselves, who proceeded to play live, for an hour that really turned into a party. It kicked off with Mose Allison singing a few of his signature tunes, Pat's visit with Dan, and a jam session including Guitar Greats Hubert Sumlin (Howlin' Wolf), Michael Hill (Michael Hill's Blues Mob), Bass player Jerry Jemmott (Aretha Franklin), David Maxwell (Freddie King) on Piano, and a Horn section which included Calvin Owens (B.B. King'), "Blue" Lou Marini (The Blues Brother's Band), Singer Bettye LaVette, and many more, (including a special "bonus" performance at the end)!

I just watched the House Of Blues gig from the new DVD release and did not see either Jim nor Dan play the harp. Dan played the harmonica and Jim hung with the audience. Sorry....I would've had a screen grab for ya otherwise.
peace
