Hey guys. My favorite scene in the Blues Brothers is the mall chase scene, and all of the other chase scenes. And who could forget the music? I just want to har what other people's favorite scenes are. Thanks

My favorite scene would definatley be when they perform "Everybody Needs Somebody to Love". I mean, first, it's my favorite song ever, second, we get to see Jake and Elwood show off their cool dance moves, and, of course, what's not to like about a huge Blues Brothers concert? Exactly my point. Then, my second favorite scene would have to be when Elwood picks up Jake from prison, and they're headed to the orphanage (I love the song "She Caught the Katy", and Elwood jumps over an open bridge!). And, my third favorite would be a tie between the mall chase scene and when John Lee Hooker performs "Boom, Boom, Boom".

THe last half hour of the film, hands down. No chase in history has even come close to topping this one terms of sheer speed, recklessness, creativeness, carnage, action, and broken watches. The Nazis' death drop is the perfect exclamation point on it.

"Blues Rider--a shadowy flight into the dangerous world of two men the law wishes didn't exist. Joliet Jake and Elwood Blues, two brothers on a crusade to champion the soul, the rhythm, the blues, in a world of cops who operate with no regard for the law."

My two favorites (couldn't choose just one ;) ) are:

"It's got a cop motor, a four forty cubic inch plant. It's got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks. It's a model made before the catalytic converter so it'll run good on regular gas."

"It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark, and we're wearing sunglasses. Hit it."

are when they brothers visit the Penguin and Elwood exclaims "OW you Fat Penguin!"
and then when they are in the car and Elwood says " It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes. it's dark and we are wearing sunglasses."

There are so many to choose from! My fave scenes are when Elwood goes flying over the bridge with jake, when they go through the mall, when they perform at the country bunker and finally...when they get chased all the way from thier big gig to the tax assessors office. Actually, i liked all the music performances. The penguin scene was hilarious too!!
