So, is anyone doing anything to remember John? I keep asking my parents to take me up to where he is burried. I think they might take me. I hope so I want to pay my respects to John.

Are there going to be any specials on because last year on Larry King Live they had Dan Aykroyd and Judy Jacklin ( John's wife) on that was on either his b-day or on the day he passed away.

I really want to do something for John. Any suggestions?

Yeah I thought about playing 2000 Pound Bee. It is what Danny played a John's funeral. I read that in Samurai Widow by Judy Belushi. In that book Judy said he was burried in a cemetary on Martha's Vineyard. I don't see why Judy would lie about that. She even mentioned how people would place beer and stuff like that on his grave. I would love to go up and place a rose on his grave and play 2000 Pound Bee!!!!!!!!!! John is so awesome. I really want to do something for him. You know what would be cool if I went there and I got meet Dan or Judy. It would be a very sad and happy day for me.

Yes John Belushi was buried at Martha's Vineyard.
Here is a photo of his grave
However his body was moved after a few years to another location (possibly with his parents), but the memorial remains there and people still pay homage (as you can see in the photo!)

SO he was moved? Where to again? That really sucks. See I keep begging my parents to take me up there so I can pay my respects. I can't believe this. That really sucks! Now I don't know what I'm going to do! I need to do something for John!! Now I don't know what I'm going to do!

I went to that stupid FindaDeath website and It really upset me! They got the whole story wrong about him dying! Now I know I wasn't there or anything but I've read up on stuff like this and trust me they are really wrong. Why would you mention something like his head falling off? I feel like that site is really disrespectful! I believe he is still at Martha's Vineyard and I hope I'm right. I read about one move but the second I never heard of! Isn't it funny I just want to do something nice for the guy and there's this big trouble going on! I guess nothing is ever easy is it? Well, John I'm going to find you and pay my respects!

Man you are really passionate about this arent you? Well don't fret, John is still at Marthas Vinyard. I read in some interview with Judy that at some point she found that John's grave had been messed with (someone had aparently tried to dig him up) so they had him moved to an unmarked grave in another part of the cemetary. If I run across the article I'll be sure to post it ASAP!

did you also click on the chicago link and see his parents grave with his name on it also ?? as much as i would like to belive he is in marthas vineyard... i just cant belive that he is in an un marked grave.for some one who was and is still so truley loved by all , he should be put back under his stone so he can truly rest in peace. it has been said that a person buried in a unmarked grave is bound to walk the earth in limbo neither going to heaven nor hell. it is not until the body is properly buried with a stone or marker, that the soul can go to its final rest , wherevr that may be....heaven or hell.

look at that: http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=39271&item=6147488417&rd=1
it says the photo has been made on martha's vineyard, but not the memorial stone (which only says "belushi")

ah: "kopierschutz" means "copy protection"

Sorry if I came off a little strong guys. This stuff just really upsets me. I know the part about Robim Williams and Robert DiNero being with him that night was wrong they went to his bungalow but he wasn't there so they left after waiting a little bit. I do take this stuff to heart and I want to thank everyone for trying to help me out. Tomorrow I doubt I'll stop thinking about him. I know I'm having a movie marathon of his. I'm playing all of the movies his in that I own. I'm still on the look out for where he's buried. Any good leads just let me know. If what you said about the unmarked grave thing is true I hope John is buried at a marked grave I can't stan to think that he's running around here some where! Happy Birthday John!!!!

No need to appologize. I too feel strongly about all this and it makes me sick to my stomach to think that a preson a kewl as John had to go out the way he did (and so soon too). I feel for ya. My friend and i talk about him all the time and just today we finished the song we wrote for his birthday. We decided to call it 'We All Die Young'. the song is a mix of the chicago electric blues and heavy metal (the kind that John liked/late 70s early 80s). We hope to get it mixed down and put it on some sort of tribute site.

Well thanks. People tell me I'm way to obsessed with him. Well I really like him and I just want to imagine him in a peaceful place not in some unmarked grave with his head chopped off! I'll probably just go up to Martha's Vineyard and pay my respects on March 5th which is coming up fast! That will be a hard day for me. Well, once again thank you. May John's soul rest in peace!

For a recap, here is the FindAGrave page for the site and cemetery where he is really buried, on Martha's Vineyard:

Here is the FindAGrave information for the CENOTAPH stone with his parents, in Illinois:
