Thanks, I think the '86 Crown Victoria is a good model because it has similar traits from both the '74 Monaco and the '91 Crown Victoria. Probably in about five years I'll hunt down one of the BB2K Blumos, mainly for the EFI engine as this one was the last of the Ford LTD Crown Victoria P71's to have a carburetor.

My girlfriend owned a '93 Crown Victoria (civilian issue) for about a year and we sold it to gain some of the money for the Blumo purchase. If only there were more women on the planet that drove older cars for the sake of vintage auto history.

Interesting observation. I just read up on that and checked my VIN and couldn't find any P7X designation or 55A within the number. Does your VIN clearly show which type yours is? I want to find out what mine is so I refer to it correctly given this new info.

New professionally done paint job (removal of old paint, multiple coats)
Removal of rubber bumper nubs on front and back bumpers (has to be done by removing the bumpers themselves)
Build and install push bars
Exterior stencils (star shield, P1, etc...)
Dashboard needs reupholstering
All radio speakers need replacing (I only have one rear speaker, the rest are burnt literally)
AND whatever is needed to make the car mechanically fit (engine rebuild, brakes, etc)
I estimate it will cost close to 5K to get all this done. I need to find a good mechanic and shack this car up with him for a long while then to a painter.
