"Oh life is like a maze of doors and they all open from the side you're on
Just keep on pushing hard boy, try as you may
You're going to wind up where you started from "

Rolling Roadshow
AUG 13: THE BLUES BROTHERS in Joliet, IL

Admission is free to all 2010 Rolling Roadshow events.
The hardest working men in show business.
Get ready to follow John “Jake” Belushi & Dan “Elwood” Aykroyd through Chicago as they fight to save their old Catholic orphanage, dodge the Illinois Nazis, and avoid every form of the law as they put their band back together.
This comedy classic will never be equaled, and stands among the most rampaging gutbusters the world has ever seen. With performances by James Brown, Aretha Franklin and Ray Charles, you’ll find it absolutely impossible to not sing and dance! So bring somebody to hold, to kiss, to miss, to squeeze and please, and join us for THE BLUES BROTHERS. And remember, they’re “on a mission from God.”
In remembrance of the time Jake spent in the big house, this screening will take place just outside the walls of Illinois’ Joliet Prison.

Note: seating is not provided at this event, please bring your own blanket or lawn chairs. Please no pets.
Want to join us for free cocktails after the screening? We’ll be serving orange whips, fried chickens and dry white toast inside of a church! Be one of the first 50 to complete the Blues Brothers Gowalla Trip and win two tickets to the party, or come in costume to the screening.

I wish I was in Illinois.

This would have been awesome to attend.
Dixie, did you go?
Dixie, did you go?
One scary soul band as mean and righteous as a fist.
