Hey everyone. I'm looking to replace my old BB hat with a new one and found a nice one on eBay at a reasonably cheap price. That hat, that is, not the model. Although she's pretty nice too.

Anyway, do you (far more knowledgable than I) people reckon it's a decent match?

If I wanted to be super picky, I'd say the hat band/ribbon is smaller than on the original hats, but other than that, looks like a pretty darn good match! What's the material? Is it crushable wool felt? Fur felt? Cheap costume permafelt?

According to the ad (it's an eBay item) it's "100% wool." It's just over ten pounds which is about fifteen dollars.

Is the shipping $15 or the hat itself? Just be weary, if it's the hat itself, you get what you pay for. If you want a quality hat, the best match I've seen is here. I'd recommend the Jaxon Blues Crushable or the Goldengate Blues Brothers hat. Both under $40.00.

Pretty good I'd say...Dimple the front and yer good to go!

I would wager Elwood probably didn't enter a fancy men's store to buy his. Goodwill or Salvation Army I'd assume.
The hats are not all identical within the movies anyway so you can be close and still be accurate..!

The Golden Gate Blues Brothers hat is $72.00. I believe they were cheaper when I got two of them for my brother and I awhile back, but not cheaper by much if I remember correctly! I sure wish they had been under $40.00 though!

Wow, is the GG Blues hat that expensive now?? I never realized. Must've got way up in price. Well, there's always the Jaxon Blues. I have two hats by Jaxon and they're very nice hats for the price you pay for them.
