The Point 94.1 is "On A Mission From God" Saturday from 10 to 12:30 at the Little Rock Zoo. Sharpe Dunaway & Mike Kennedy will be broadcasting live, with lots of free stuff to give away (with paid admission to the Zoo)

-Plus you'll get a sneak peek at The Point 94.1's next big prize that you

It's probably a Bluesmobile by now but we saw it here when it was still in California ...

Hopefully they did a good job.
I'll venture a guess and say it's gonna be loaded with ads for the station.

I was thinking the same thing.

I'm hoping it's not just a rolling billboard.

Jesus H., Zac ... you never mentioned that here did you? At least I don't recall you mentioning it. Were you sworn to secrecy? :P Truth be told there has been no official announcement yet that 94.1 is giving away a Bluesmobile. We just know that's what it is lol.

No I never mentioned it steamer.. We exchanged a few emails, and what not, but I cant get rid of her. I did tell him about here, and in the last email he said he found one. Hense the grey one.

He was offering some good money though! He was offering 6 grand for mine, because it was ready to go.. Believe me it was mighty tempting! But I dont know how much they wanted to spend on one that needed work. They wanted one that was mechanicly ready to go, and they would do the body work

Who knows who will win it though? Some guy would prolly win it, drive it a few times, then derby and/or sell it.

I dont think you have to worry unless you get a real nut job, If A guy didnt like the movie and had fun driving it a few times either he'd be hooked on the fun the car is or he would sell it for money, people love money and he'll figure out quick people want it.

One of the first times I had my car out painted this young 20 something year old kid offered me his totally beefed up, hot rodded out and crazy 90's Camaro for a flat out trade, not that I'd want a camaro anyway! Ha!
I said sorry bud I just painted it and really want to enjoy it for a while.

Looks like this is the Bluesmobile. It's the only pic I've seen so far.

There's apparently a Facebook video but that won't play for me.

It's all good. They're helping raise awareness for the new penguin facility at the Little Rock Zoo, "Penguin Point." http://www.bluesbrotherscentral.com/forum2/public/style_emoticons/default/icon_cool.gif But it's a lot more than that, the Mission From God is about the recovery of a 17 year old Little Rock girl, Mary Drake, who was in an accident and the Brothers are generating prayers and donations for her fund. How can you not like these guys? :D

Contest open to Arkansas residents at least 18 years of age.

Well that pretty well eliminates all of us lol. I was listening to the station last night for a bit, some decent rock. I didn't hear the actual sound prompt for people to phone in, I'm still not sure what it sounds like. Here's the rest of the rules ...

I was getting the newsletter... listening live... even stored the phone number in my cell...

And then I saw the official rules :-|

Like Steam mentioned... "Arkansas residents only"
and... "Must be present for the final drawing".

My gear instantly dropped down into low.

But, it is still super cool that someone will win this, free of charge.
Perhaps even create a fan, from someone who wasn't one already.

Here is the latest video...

The Brothers recruit Jeff Allen from his current job as a maître d’ .

* The acting brought tears to my eyes.
(Interpret that as you may) :BB:

But seriously, like what has been said already....

A great cause with a fun campaign surrounding it, that finishes off with an
awesome grand prize and a lot of happy people.

... What's not to like.

Its a Plymouth Gran Fury. Can you give me the story.. This guy selling it is kinda Sketchy, shifty and always wears Raybans..... Let the test begin... :> I am betting that if was a true email it would be like ten minutes....
