Has anyone else seen this?
I don't know what it is about this documentary. I saw it for the first time on CNBC a month ago. I've watched it on Netflix and YouTube at least ten times since then. There's a lurid, noir feel to the narrative that just keeps pulling me back in. And the fact that it's all real, it all really happened -- these people really did bankrupt California to try and plug the hole of their own debt. $2 billion in retirement funds DID disappear overnight, including the benefits packages of the PGE line workers who only technically worked for Enron Corp. for two years... And one of the guys who orchestrated it all DID just get an appeal.
