Well supposedly blueswan, that's where the hotel was shown to be in the movie, however, there's still no listing of it found in any Chicago telephone book anywhere, so who knows?

We do know.
I (and I'm sure others here) have photos of it while it was still standing.
It was on the corner of Plymouth and Van Buren one door over from the "Dill Pickle Deli".
On another note...
Honestly... I don't like the eyeball.
Is this really an improvement over the legitimate businesses that were there?
an empty lot with an eyeball in it ?
In a city with world class art and architecture on nearly every street, they come up with a giant eye? ... really?
* I also believe there are enough structures, parks and skyscrapers named after Pritzker already.
(...but that is just my personal opinion)

Well, we'll only have to look at it until Halloween, then they'll probably move something else in.
I like the eyeball fine. What I don't like is the two guys *dressed as eyeballs* that stand in front of it and pose for pictures with tourists.

I'm on the street, I'm talking out of my head,
This dumb brick wall ain't heard a word

..until Halloween..
I'm thinkin' they should have put it up in September.
It would fit much better during (and through) the Halloween season.
