Hay I kinda had a thought if Dan akroyd does decide to make a new movie maybe it could feature Jakes long lost son who would tracks down Elwood and maybe they could keep the kid buster in the movie or get John Goodmen in it or something like that see its just so hard to get a new plot for the movie I think Elwood putting the band back together won't work because many of the members are done with the blues brothers and apparently Matt Guitar Murphy had a seizure and can't play any more and Duck Dunn is not playing again with them and I think it would be hard to make the 3rd movie happen but I think the best would be if Dan did the last movie with Jim now that would be good its just hard to think give any suggestions on this post I am thinking of writing my own version of the childhood of the blues brothers and submit the play to my theater group

It's a good idea, but no Blues Brothers film would be complete without the band, and the music. They'd have to have either the old band, or perhaps this long lost son of Jake's could put together a new one. Either way, there has to be good music.

yes or like they could have jim belushi playing a down on his luck Blues man with the sacrid harts band and elwood helps them out

no back in time is the way to go. their first meeting in the orphanage.learning the blues from curtis.+ jake becoming a fine young criminal.. elwoods driving lessons.mmmm 4 fried chickens and a coke,tis a mere snack.
