Man, I wish I lived near Chicago. Last month, a new Blues Brothers Movie geocache was hidden in Illinois. It's at the location where Burton Mercer and the cops crash into the semi truck.
Geocaching is a high-tech "treasure hunt" where people hide a "cache" and you use a GPS locator to find it.
Okay, so here's the link already! http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=c99c9857-bf91-4a38-99a6-a24e04b26c1d
Also on that page, if you click on the link "Find... other caches hidden... by this user" you'll find at the top of the list another Chicago-area geocache for a scene from Ferris Bueller's Day Off.

it is realy kind of funny that this guy says that this is where they went into the semi. when everybody knows that it was done in wauconda ill. by il rt 176 and us 12. as show by travis in his exploits earlier this month. the tire tracks are still there! i know that area very well and there are no big hills like that there that i can remember of . that streach of hiway he is talking about is now being used. and that area realy isnt even that close to where it was filmed.

Just keep on pushing hard boy, try as you may
