Here is my retired South Dakota Highway Patrol car... it's a 76 Gran Fury with the high performance 440 4bbl. It is a true police package and the only thing that has been altered is the stereo... which I will be switching back to a a Chrysler AM/FM/CB radio. The car runs strong, is COMPLETELY solid with absolutely no rust damage- only minor 'peppering' behind the rear wheels. Interior needs a bit of help- but overall this was an awesome deal. I pretty much stole this car from the guy whose family had owned it since they bought it from SDHP back in the early 80's. It has the original key chain from Billions Chrysler, Plymouth, Datsun where the SDHP ordered the car from. It has the original owners manual, the order sheet from SDHP, the SDHP insurance card, and a SDHP check off list that they used to make sure the car was exactly what they ordered. None of the paperwork looks like it's ever been exposed to sunlight, as it is all in perfect, non-faded condition. It's not going to be a bluesmobile, but it will be a classic squad car when I'm done with it.

What a bonus to not only save a great car, but to also have that paperwork still legible. A great find. -Y'know ... it could be a pretty nice Bluesmobile :BB: haha. Just ribbin' ya, man. We know what you're doing to this car, I think it's awesome. It makes me feel good knowing it's out of the field, it's in good hands, and will live and breathe again. And I'd have to say it's going to breathe nice with that cop 440. :D Thanks for the pics.
