I thought when they were in Elwoods apt. That He handed Jake a bottle of Jack Daniels after which Jake fell asleep leaving Elwwod on the chair to sleep, inbetween that though Elwood put a record on the record player--you here the song for about 10 seconds.
I looked on the song list and it is not mentioned.

Haha. Humbled by the best Blues Brothers site maybe, just like we all are. I learned more about the Blues Brothers in my first few months here, than I ever learned watching the movie well over 100 times. :D Maybe you'll stick around and join the funsanity?

I think it was Louis Jordan's version also. I grew up listening to Jordan because of my dad. I knew classical because of my mother , jazz because of my dad and soul because of my sister. Consequently when i watched the movie I recognized and loved a lot of the music.
