I hadn't heard much about it.

What section are they working on?

Not the stretch that empties onto Congress is it?

The Congress Parkway is mentioned. There's maps and renderings to look at in PDF format. How do you open them damn things anyway? All I get is a page of non-stop symbols, letters and numbers?? That construction page is rather extensive.

I'd like to see the renderings of Lower Wacker.

Lower Wacker Drive 2010 Construction Project

It won't be the same but at least the intersections we know from the movie will still exist, they'll just look kinda different. I guess. At least there's still time to recreate a famous jump. :D

Monroe St.
Start Date: Jan. 2012
Expected Completion: Summer 2012
Project: Removal of ramp located at the intersection of Wacker and Monroe. The ramp will be replaced with a new one-way ramp to Lower Wacker.
I read that and chuckled thinking, "the jump ramp is still there?" So, I guess we should chip in on the Alabama Bluesmobile and jump it over a Royal at Wacker and Monroe. :)
