5 pages of 74-78 Monacos, Furys, and imperials in their final days.

IMO, this '75 Gran Fury, on the first page, is probably the most depressing...

Then after 3 heats, a consi, 4th place feature and a feature win. $2100 in winnings.

I'm thinking someone would have given them that amount, without having to rip one piece out of the car.

I rescued a rust free '78 440 NYB from a derby rat, it was way too nice to smash up. I took the 9.25 rear from it for my Bluesmobile, swapped the Monaco 8.25 rear into it, detailed the heck out of it, and sold it for $1,800 on ebay. It went to Indiana to a very appreciative new owner who always wanted one, so there are homes even for the seemingly not-so-desirable Mopars out there.

Nice work AZB.

The car is still on the road, still being enjoyed by someone... and went for
about the same amount of money as the derby would pay.
