I remember now that I saw that song in the credits, but forgot to look it up. Probably because I try to forget as much as I can about that movie. :BB:

Well it's not a very good movie, but there are films that suck much more.
I found it entertaining.

Thanks!

There are a few movies that as far as the actual movie goes sucks but the music is great on them. Sometimes the soundtracks don't have the exact musical scores that were in the movie probably something about copyrighting stuff. That's what happened for any of you people that are fans of Charmed. It took them forever to release the show on DVD because of the music that ran through them after Piper opened P3. Same thing with Married with Children. First two seasons on DVD you get Frank Sinatra singing the theme song. The rest of the seasons have that lame substitute. That was what got me into Frank Sinatra was that show. SNL got me into the blues.:BB:

The same thing happened to "WKRP".

The original television airings had the DJ's playing real songs by famous bands.
On the DVD releases the songs have been replaced with "imaginary" rock songs.

You gotta do what you gotta do. Its unfortunate that happens. When bands get featured in movies or shows, that is when their popularity increases. I think its a shame that they don't look at that as positive publicity and raise a stink about it when the show wants to be released on DVD. I'm glad AC/DC didn't raise a stink about the Iron Man releases. Shoot I didn't realize they've been around that long I was listening to them before I enlisted in the Navy in 75! Brian Johnson is a great substitute for Bon Scott. Bon had a neat gravelly voice though that kind of went with the songs. Brian is not as gravelly voiced to give them that eerie feel but he does them damn good in my opinion.

I found out what happened with Married with Children. The Frank Sinatra Foundation, who has the rights to most of his music didn't have the rights to this particular track. In order to get out of his contract with Tommy Dorsey's band, he signed over the rights to the music he introduced with that orchestra and that one was one of them. It was Tommy Dorsey's owners/whatever you call them that raised a stink. I don't know why either because throughout that whole show that was the theme song. It was only when the DVD releases started coming out that they had to come up with a new theme. I would have rather not had anything compared to that yucky one. As far as Charmed and P3, I'm glad they were able to work out agreements with those bands. Having different types of music in place of the bands that played at P3 would have really sucked.

I have it. It's different; not the usual Elwood fare. But, it's good.

The disk is compilation. Here's the тracklist:

01. Ray Charles - The Good Life
02. Digital Underground - Same Song
03. Nick Scotti - Get Over
04. Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons - Big Girls Don't Cry
05. Digital Underground - Tie The Knot
06. Damn Yankees - Bonestripper
07. Elwood Blues Revue - Atlantic City (Is A Party Town)

Just a quick heads-up: If you go to e-bay and search WKRP; you can occasionally find homemade compilations of the show with the original music. They may or may not be the best quality (I haven't checked in a while) but, they're there.
I got everything I need....almost...
