Hey Guys -

Thanks to everyone who responded on the trunk mat issue for my '74 Monaco - I got original type material and now need to cut to fit. Next issue is to resolve what I believe is a carb problem - car starts fine, decent off the line - however does not provide an even flow of power say at 55mph or really any even speed where you keep your right foot still - think it has to do with the fuel delivery. Does fine to pass too, but last night I tried pushing it and it would bogg down at 75 mph or so (almost felt like it was governed). Car has a new distributor and has had the timing checked twice. My mechanic is talented, but he never drives what he services, so it makes it difficult to figure out what's going on when it idles great and does good around the shop parking lot - any advice would be great - and if it needs a new carb, any suggestions on type and where to get?? thanks -

Mine did the same thing.. It was the accelerator pump in the carb. Got a rebuild kit for it, and she runs great!
I dont have a big block.. just a 2brl 360. But I dont think that would matter.
