The local oldies radio station mentioned this morning that on May 12, 1965, Wilson Pickett recorded "Midnight Hour," backed up by, among others, Steve Cropper and Donald Dunn. The DJ actually said Pickett was backed up by a few Blues Brothers band members. That was cool.
