Hey Guys - I am new to this site - I bought the white CHP spec '74 Monaco in Buffalo NY back in Jan. I have been working on restoring the finer details of the car and resolving issues that crop up on a vehicle that has been sitting for a number of years - it is an amazing vehicle and it's nearly ready for summer driving. I am looking to buy a trunk mat for the car (believe it is a herringbone design), also looking for 70's era radio equipment and radar unit for shows (a working unit would be great) - any leads would be appreciated - thanks -

Hi Rob:
Welcome to the site! You sure have a nice ride there. I missed the auction, or you would have had some more competition in the bidding! I'm sorry I can't provide any help on your trunk mat or radio equipment, but its a great group of people here and I hope you get some good leads.

I know that ACC has trunk mats:
ACC: your solution for the perfect trunk mat pattern to fit your car and more
But they are by no means the only one.
Some Google searching should bring up more places.
* My '74 still has the original mat and it is the "Gray Plaid" design, shown in the
first couple photos, on the above page.
edit:
I checked my notes and found a second place for trunk mats:

CHP didn't use radar in '74. Yes it was available, but they didn't use it.
