They recently rolled out a new feature called, "Instant Personalization" -- this means that on Facebook partner sites such as Docs.com, Yelp and Pandora, the sites will look at your profile information when you visit, and use it to "personalize" the experience offered by the website. This is rather worrying because what happens if/when partner sites get compromised? Is our data safe?
Thankfully, you can turn off the "Instant Personalization" thing by hitting your Account button (top right hand corner), clicking "Privacy Settings" and selecting "Application and Websites". Down the bottom of the page is the "Instant Personalization" option, and you can turn it off there.
