Hey Luuk,

That is not your car, that car came from Northern California I remember seeing it on ebay. Your car was saved from a salvage yard in southern CA. It was sitting on the ground with no wheels and was to be scraped. It was brought to Tampa FL by a couple of dudes that restore/sale old police cars. It sat for several more years in Tampa and then was bought by Rick Shields of Titusville FL that did the cars for HOB and Universal Studios. He kept this as his personal car and I actually sent him the wiring harness out of one of my Monaco's I use for parts to get this one running again.

I bugged him for a few years to sell it to me and finally in 2007 he did. It was his last Monaco at the time as he got out of the Bluesmobile business when the HOB was sold. This car was finished by me in the condition that you got it. Although I had many more things I wanted to do to it I found another CHP Monaco that I just had to have and decided to sell it to help pay for the new one I found.

When I remember anymore info I will post it.

Take care,

Huey

Hello BluesBrotherFan, just keep in touch, I think the car will be finished within two months, you're always welcom to grab a beer here.

BTW, there are I think 3 Monaco's in The Netherlands and there is one for sale, Marc wants to sell his BluesMobile replica, let me know if you need more info.
