Hey guys,

I thought I should ask this, as you seem like an opinionated group. I have yet to decide whether or not I should purchase an iPad (I'll wait for the 3G version anyway), as I could kinda use one for my media degree at University that starts in September. But, the big drawback is the lack of a USB Port. What do you suggest? iPad, Macbook, or just a plain old PC / Laptop?

P.S: I already have a Dell XPS M1530, she's knocking on 22 months now, but she's done great in the game department, still runs the most recent games on medium quality.

Wait for iPad.

Once they add a camera, flash content ability, etc. these 1st. generations will be CHEAP!

After I bought my iPhone 3Gs, the next generations came 4 months later with even more upgrades!

Just hang in there for a few months Jim. you won't be sorry...

Hm,

I think I will do that. I mean, University term start in September and I won't need it until then. I know what you mean about the iPhone, I started my contract in January 2009 and had to wait 12 months before upgrading to the 3Gs.

Thanks for the advice!
