why is my needle sitting at around 25 mph when I am sitting still? It goes up as I drive but something aint right. I had the cluster out and was gonna swap for a 75 but decided to keep mine.

had the same question on an 1980 El Camino with the answer
hi,the problem is at the speedometer head unit,you can take the dash cluster plastic off of the cluster and move the needle back to 0 ,just move it carefully ,the needles are made to come out . this wont effect the true reading of the speedometer ...guy
But before doing that, I bet these guys could tell you what's wrong / fix it
