I have a real true passion for blues music and for cars of all sorts (but especially American muscle cars --- and anything with a 440 CUI powerplant; I must own a '74 Dodge Monaco one day...its one of my "Must do things before I die" items...anyway...).
And I can quite confidently and happily trace both of those passions of mine back to Dan Aykroyd as it was The Blues Brothers Band that opened my ears as a young kid of about 5 or 6 years old to the sounds of blues. And it was the movie that I was fascinated with because of all of those powerful Dodge police cars running around through Chicago.

So to summarise, I really have to thank Dan for the two biggest interests that I have; blues and cars. Ok, girls are in there somewhere as well, but I'm sure you get what I mean...

So thank you Dan for helping me "see the light"

Hahaha, no absolutely not, quite the opposite actually. I should offer to wash his car for him every weekend for the next 30 years!!

Indeed he has a lot to answer for with me too! Ghostbusters turned me into a fan since I can remember, bought an entire GB uniform with $2,000 proton pack and a life time of Ghosthead history. Blues Brothers has brought me to learn the harp so I can perform with a profession tribute band in my city as well as buying not one but two Bluesmobiles (the first one was tragically killed:mad:). He's the biggest creative person in my life and next to my Dad and John DeLorean (BTTF caused me to buy a DMC-12). I have seen the light!
