Not my listing, but came across it and thought it might be useful for someone here putting together that infamous 74 front clip.

Oh, this can is from a surplus disposal run. 15 overcharged ounces of pure uncompounded isoproponyl butane monosulphide.

Grabbed this one. Wasnt worried to much about mine, but once I saw all of your guyses I had to have it haha. It did make quiet a difference. Hopefull ill get it early next week. Ill post pics of it on.

While I was down here in FL, I went to a mopar bone yard. He had 2 74/75 fury police cars. I ran to the one that was getting picked at, and wouldnt you know it. the damn 140 speedo was gone, as well as the oil, and temp. It did have the clock, but whoever grabbed the other ones, broke the black part, and plastic on it. So I passed on it. It did have a mint tan dash pad, I was gonna grab it, but dont really need it, plus didnt wanna mess with the shipping and what not. But it was already removed, and ready to go.. I had it in my hands lol

He also had one that was all together. He put a 400 in it, but it over heated. But other then that its ready to go. He wanted $2500 for it.

Hi Country:
Can you elaborate on the clock? I thought that a Monaco/Fury could have one of
- oil pressure/water temp gauge
- an analog clock with hands
- a digital clock that had printed numerals on wheels that clicked around
that fit into the same position on the dash.

So when you say that the oil/temp was gone, I'm surprised that there was a clock remaining. When you say "It did have the clock", it sounds like this clock is something to be on the lookout for, and I'm not sure what it is.

Thanks for posting it TI! Now just post one for an oil/temp gauge hahaha

Arthur your right, The oil/temp gauge goes in the same spot where the clock I saw was.. But the other opening to the bottom right had wires going to it, and the plate on the bezal was missing... But isnt that spot for station waggon rear windo, or rear defrost? Not sure, but whatever it was someone grabbed it.

What do you guys think? Should I grab the clock even though the black plastick around it was broken?

Ahhh, I think that's what you're referring to (pic 1). I guess it had a defrost, and someone took the control and bezel for it.

It would be nice to have something in the hole, but if you don't get the clock, the bare opening will give you extra incentive to find an oil pressure / water temperature gauge to fill it.

Should I grab the clock ?
My line of thinking is that if you can find very inexpensive parts, grab them while you can.
Even if you do not need them at the time.

Because, when the time comes that you decide that you want to install a clock
(or any other part) you'll have to start hunting for it, and that will most definitely cost more time and money
than if you would have gotten it when the opportunity presented itself.

Then, if you decide that you will never need it, you can always find someone else who will
and get your cash back, as well as provide a deal for someone else at the same time.

* But of course sometimes it is just not worth going out of the way, for the payoff.

TK Ill go grab it, and trade you for your gauges?!?! ahaha jkjk man, I am jelous though! I tried getting ahold of the guy, but hes a very hard man to get ahold of. His job is going to all the mopar shows around the country, and buying and selling parts. Hes 67 years old, and has been doing this all his life, you should see his junkyard, nothing but vintage mopars! atleast 500/600 of em

Ill try again to get ahold of him. Anyone on here interested in it?

I had the clock with hands in mine , worked for a while . Then I found a block off plate from another Monaco , and stuck it in mine ... but then found the gauges and put where the block off plate was . Ands that's it for the musical stick something in the dash game .

Looks great, Zac! Nice. Was there a white sliding clip of some sort to line up the holes? I remember mention of that I think when Scat was changing grilles.

Yea steam, theres a bunch of white clips that go in the body holes, that the screws screw to. The 75 grill had 7 of em, and the 74 had 6. But im missing one so it has 5 right now. But all the holes were there for the 74, so that was nice.. All I had to do was carefully pop out the white clips, and put them in the 74 locations.

Thanks TI, It did make quiet a difference, I think it makes the car look smaller from a distance.... if thats even possible haha

According to the listing, they have 6 of them. I'm half tempted to buy one so that I have a spare if something were to happen to one of my cars, but the price is a little steep. Though if you're looking to convert your '75 to a '74 or if you have a different-year Monaco altogether, this is one of the parts you need.

That's weird that they have 6 new grilles, and none of them are in a box. But it looks good!
