Census Day is April 1st! Fill out those questionnaires and send them in. Or else the "swat team" crews will come bug you to death for the rest of the year.

Please do not pull a gun or sic your dogs on your enumerator. (I'm one of them this year!)

Also, if you don't do your part and fill out your questionnaire, I will personally come and kick your ass. :D

Got my letter today telling me I'd be getting my census next week (presumably that's to identify any bad addresses that bounce back?)... Okay, Takk, I'm practicing on blank pieces of paper and ready to go!

Yep, that's to see whether you can get it in the mail or if they need to send a team to your house. We'll probably be talking to a team because we choose not to get mail at our street address, but at our PO Box instead. We have a slot in the group mailbox at the corner (we live in a group of duplexes), but we never went and got the key for it, so anything that goes there bounces back.

Well, for some reason, any of the census stuff that was sent to a PO Box automatically comes back, even though during the geo-mapping they took the time to write down if there were any alternate mailing addresses for each house. They must not have bothered asking in the city, because we never heard from anyone.

Even though I live in town, I'm working on a team that is delivering out in the country. Even though most of these people got their advance letters, they're still sending us out to hand-deliver these. I think it's mostly to get the maps up to date and accurate, though. Whoever originally geo-spotted some of these areas had some morons in the group.
