This was surprisingly good. It played epis from old SNL sketches and previous sketches of that year. Some of the old clips were:
-Gilda, Dan, John, Chevy, some other girls, the SNL band with The Blues Brothers Band (I'm guessing cause I saw Blue Lou I think in an angel dress/outfit but wait didn't Blue Lou work at SNL originally as the opening band or no?), singing 'Walking in a Winter Wonderland' with some singer.
-Steve Martin's Christmas Wishes
-Dan in the Consumer Probe thing for safe toys...like a bag of glass...XD
-Mr. Robinson's Neighborhood ("Guess what Santa left me? An eviction notice!")
-the radio program with Pete Schweaty
And I think that was it. They showed those after 2009 clips.

Try youtube or nbc.com and look up Saturday Night Live. If not that then they might release it on DVD or on a SNL season DVD.

Glad someone liked it. My wife and I have observed that every year it gets lamer and lamer. And WTF is "Gilly"?? (Then again, wtf is Kristen Wigg, anyway??? One of the lamest people they ever had...)
One thing that I really miss seeing -- the sketch with the Knights of Columbus meeting...and Belushi playing the leader...and trying to end the meeting by leading the group in a sing-along of semi-obscure Christmas songs that end in disaster because nobody knows 'em past the first line...except "Good King Wenceslas," which their Jewish guest (played by Elliott Gould, IIRC) knew it well.
It didn't get a heck of a lot of laughs, but I find it hysterical...it's one of those "it's funny 'cause it's true" things....no, I'm not now nor have I ever been a member of KOC, but all those meetings are the same! I sat in on a Kiwanis meeting when I was in high school, and I swear to God, it was JUST LIKE THAT.
