Hey Derek!! Welcome back. It's been a while, eh!
I'm glad you saved that Fury sedan that was in Texas. What a bargain, too! You mention this will be your second Bluesmobile. Do you have any pics to post of your first one? Maybe there's some pics of it on your website. I've only just started to look around there, gotta take it slow as the brain goes into muscle car overload. :eek:
Thanks, I'm looking forward to watching, as we all are, the transformation of another great car into a Bluesmobile. And folks, check out this website ...

Derek directed me on where to find the BluMo pics on his website.
(There are a ton of photos there and they are buried deep
)
Seeing the photos actually filled in a couple puzzle pieces in my notes as
I have actually had some photos of his car saved on my pc for a few years now, without knowing who the owner was.
Steam... I'll bet you might have a photo or two of his car already as well.
I'm sure you've come across this car on the internet as I believe it is the only hardtop
Bluesmobile I've seen with the stock Monaco white bucket seats.

The 1st Bluesmobile..a non "B" pilar car was sold to a guy in Germany. I'm now in Albq New Mexico as a stop over to visit friends with the new 74 Fury on the trailer. It towed well but I under estimated how big the state of Texas is. I picked it up from a farmers field after it sat for 20+ yrs. He parked it for a bad carb and a small electrical problem. It's a 360 with A/C and I was told the trans was shot but it seems to be just fine. Loaded it on the tandem trailer and ratchet straps secured. As I headed out of Texas and across Interstate 40 with big letters written on the back trunk lid " NEW BLUESMOBILE" Many honking horns tell me we have followers of the Blues Bros.
