I'm writing a script for a twist on Charles Dicken's classic novel. Elwood will be playing the Scrooge character while Jake will be Jacob Marley. I'm looking for some help for shooting scenes in Chicago to re-create the past and work the present. Once I finish the script, I'll be shooting it so I can finish the film for the scheduled primiere of the movie here on "Black Friday" 2010. If anyone wants to help in the chicago area, shoot me a PM. Expect some nods to BBC.com during the film, a few shots will be filmed at locations from both movies, and more...

3LW00D, you don't need to be in Chicago to help out. I'll have multiple things that can be accomplished by computer. I'm doing this project out of my own pocket, so help is being asked in certain forms. Someone can help me out by revising my script to specific details on Elwood and the Blues Bros. I need a harmonica player to play a xmas tune and send it over to me in mp3 form, so I can mime it for the movie...(I just started to play and I need atleast an average harp blower to give this an edge...credit will be given to person)

I do alot of writing. I can help out in that department at least. I know that Bismo and Elwood are both great harp players, I'm sure that either one of them would be willing to help you out there. Send me a PM with details on how I can help ya.

I'm planning 4 weekend trips to Chicago to do filming. The 1st trip will be in March to do some winter scenes. If anyone wants to help whether to be a camera-person (It's a camcorder, so it's pretty easy.) or a extra or even a main character, let me know. I'm planning to do another weekend filming around June, then August for the Blumo convention, and finally in Sept/October to wrap up. It all depends on how much we get shot in March and June for our last 2 trips. Money-wise, I'm wanting 3 and thats it. But whatever it takes man!
