Remembering Otis Redding today (died 12/10/1967). One of the greats... where could he have been now had he been able to continue?

Nice tribute article/video on CNN today:

In my younger days, Sittin' on the dock of the bay was one of my very favourites.
Of course it was.

He and I share a birthday,except it's 29 years apart.
I got everything I need....almost...

"I was growing sick of rock and roll, it was starting to bore me...and I hated disco, so I needed some place to go. I hadn't heard much blues before. It felt good."-John Belushi

(Still inspiring me--and knowing me like a book)

He was great. I love timeless classics by him as Respect, Hard To Handle, Can“t Turn You Loose or his live version of Try A Little Tenderness (the album version is great too, but listen to the live renditions... amazing!)
