Seems from the past postings that the owner is trying to keep the car until the market screams 6 figures for a 4-door sedan. Strange how he kept pulling the car - guess he really isn't serious about selling it.

Looks to me like they're trying to exploit the fact that the rust issues are non-existent in California, but in Maryland,it's a whole different story.

In other words: $1500 car in CA=$4500 in MD.

A dollar a mile....

The guy in Maryland is the 2nd seller of this car in this thread. The original seller, in California, sold a really nice car at a great price. The Maryland seller is a very recent ad, and he's now got his own pics up ...

Them's big bucks for that car. wow. I hope a Blues Brothers fan got the car, but we know the folks who restore police cars are also very interested in the 1974 Dodge Monaco. Even though this is a civilian sedan, it's the perfect starting base to make a CHP clone, or NYSP or what have ya.

Although I sure hope it becomes an awesome Bluesmobile! :D

I do have a lot of time and money in this 1974 Monaco...that is a fact! But it will need to be towed because the trans leaks. I have to post that in the ebay ad because some poor smuck on ebay will expect the car to drive 2000 miles after he buys it from me....Not happening !! You have to spell it out sometimes.....because not all people are are as S M R T as you guys. :BB:

We know shipping the car from California to Maryland set you back a bit. This car was for sale for $1,500 and came with extra parts. It's a drag that the transmission leaks, but what would you sell this car for to a member here at Blues Brothers Central?

If you had an offer of $3,000 would you accept it?

Thanks for keeping us updated, bluzman.

I am sitting on the 74 for now...waiting to see whats up with my job situation. I have a standing offer of $4500 already but do not really want to sell that cheap. These cars are getting very hard to find especially in good shape The 77 is still available if anyone wants it. I will sell it for $3800 with the weld wheels. It is very clean and all it needs is a 74 front clip......Hello Bluesmobile.
