I thought this was pretty cool. idk if you guys have been watching barret jackson at all, it started tonight in vegas. They just ran a barney fife 1963 ford galaxie replica car across the block. It started slow, but it ended up going all the way up to $110,000!! man isnt that cool? no its not a bluesmobile, but its a replica police star car. that might mean something for our bluesmobiles. idk just thought it was cool.

I just looked and I'm seeing a sale price of $121,000, although there's a little red asterisk beside the price, I'm not sure what that means.

Kinda crazy considering it's not even an authentic police car.
Cool find, zac, the sale price is absolutely bizarre. There's been some early 60's Galaxie's seen in the 'cop cars for sale' thread, I can't recall any of them coming anywhere close to $121,000. Not even one fifth of that price. Scary
lol.
I wonder if Don Knotts signed my Sunfire, if I could get 100K for it? Haha oops, dang, he's dead, eh?

The $121k is the price including the buyer's fee. I am dumbfounded by how much that car brought. Sure it had been in a couple of movies and tv shows, but not the original show or anything. I expect there will be quite a few of them being built now. lol

Some of the Barney Fifemobiles we've seen looked like fun cars. The first one had a Buy It Now of $8,995, the other 3 I'm not sure about, but they were all on eBay.
