Hey everyone

Thought this may be of interest to a few of you out there...

Whilst at my mums house looking through old stored boxes from 20 years ago i stumbled across this VHS video i bought years and years ago for the collection.

It actually has the voices of Dan and Jane

here's the front cover:

This is a UK pal video from 1984 so I'm unsure if this was ever released on the US format NTSC or if there has ever been a DVD of it. It only runs for 24 minutes so I'm unsure if it is a one-off episode or there is more.

Anyone else have this or any more info?

Ebay are selling a few really cheap if anyone else wants one for the collection.

Here's the link:

Cool stuff, Rob. Looks like there was an NTSC VHS version available. I can only see one for sale at the moment at eBay.com ...

This seems like one of those spinoff things that would be made when an actor(s) are on haitus and are trying to make money. Dan was in a movie-making prime in '84. Perhaps Lorne was trying to milk old SNL skits to make up for the mediocre cast at the time? Laraine and Jane needed to make rent?

(Kind of a rambling theory, feel free to ignore.)

I couldn't even finish part 1. Someone in the YouTube comments said it shared a lot of plot elements with the movie, so I probably didn't miss much.
