A booze related blog. Well, this one is going to be for the wine.

To answer some of the things you have raised here let me start by saying that we are going to have a similar blog for Crystal Head up and running by the end of September and the Crystal Head team and I will address questions about Crystal Head there so please ask your questions on that blog and let’s keep this blog to wine questions.

Hmm, and an upcoming Crystal Head blog as well. Hmmm...well, at least that's a start!

My only question is this: Who came up with the sh!tty font for the wine website? I thought I was going even more blind...then I enlarged the text (ctrl+wheel) and realized it was just crappy.

I just wonder why nobody's posting a schedule for signings of either product. That seems to be the one thing everyone's excited about (even off this forum) and asking for. Is it really so hard? He has a PR team to set up the meets, but nobody can post a damn schedule without an act of congress?

Lol, do you mean this ... ?

The same thing happens when I take pics of the wine bottles. I've looked at some of the pics thinking, well, everything else is in focus, am I experiencing selective double-vision here? :o

No, I mean the text for the website info itself.

Font looks fine on my end, Takku-San. o.O

At least it's not Times New Roman. *Shudders*

(This said -- I thought Danny didn't like computers? Maybe he's having someone transcribe stuff onto the blog?)

The videos are kinda cute, though. <3 I enjoyed both sets -- the Canada and the USA ones. I don't drink alcohol, but the videos definitely instil a sense of appreciation for the wines, and the work they're doing. Though towards the end of one video, as he did the, "and remember..." line, I was half-expecting him to give the dad-talk about enjoying it moderation, and then he didn't. *Grins sheepishly*

I actually thought about this today. :) I figured if you meant the label you would have said so (The label still gives me double-vision lol). The font thing must be a setting on your computer?? This is how it looks for me ...

Here's a better capture of my screen, (thank you, PrintKey) just so you know I didn't type the previous one myself, Takku-San! :)

The font is actually Lucida Sans, it looks fine on my monitor but it's possible that you don't have that particular font installed. Or perhaps your browser is overriding it, I'm not sure really.
I had a broken version of the Helvetica font installed once, and it made a whole load of websites unreadable, just like your screenshot. I deleted the file from c:\windows\fonts and everything started looking nice again.

The exact line from the CSS code is:
font-family:"Lucida Sans",arial,sans-serif;
(If Lucida Sans isn't installed, it will just kick over to arial).

I'm an Arial, Verdana, Helvetica, Times, Sans-Serif fan myself :BB:

Okay, my main beef with the website at the moment is that the "Purchase from Winery" and "Retailers" function does nothing when you click them. Does anyone else have this problem?

Second, in the video, Dan says the rest of the Dan Aykroyd websites "are just bogus." Um, is he having a little humor on us, or did nobody explain the concept of a fansite to him? None of the ones I've ever run across ever claimed to be official or affiliated with him. (EDIT: Now the myspaces/facebooks/twitters on the other hand...)
