For me, I can remember sitting in front of my parents big RCA consol TV and watching them on the Ed Sullivan Show.
It still seems like yesterday..!

I'm annoyed tho' at all the friggin' paraphenalia and propaganda that's so easily available now! LOL. I started enjoying the Beatles when I was a kid, back in 1984 (MTV did a 20th Anniversary Big Screaming Deal thing. I got hooked easily. :D)
But I spent the better part of my youth scrounging for any Beatles related items I could find. The albums obviously (on LP, CD and Cassette! LOL), T-shirts, posters, photographs, coffee cups, books, you name it. By the early to mid 90's things started to become more available and then it seemed like things dried up. One of my most prized Beatles possessions is a John Lennon figure (doll? LOL), complete with black n' white guitar, the grey suit with the black collar and standing at the microphone. I wanted to collect all four (obviously LOL) but was unable to at the time.
Now tho' it seems like every time I turn around I see Beatles this n' that n' whathaveyou. Where the hell was all this crap when I was searching high and low for it?
Ah well. Hopefully there's an 8-year-old-kid out there who's discovering the Beatles for the first time now like I did then and they'll be excited to find all the paraphanelia. http://www.bluesbrotherscentral.com/forum2/public/style_emoticons/default/icon_cool.gif

"I was growing sick of rock and roll, it was starting to bore me...and I hated disco, so I needed some place to go. I hadn't heard much blues before. It felt good."-John Belushi

I love both the mop-top and hippie Beatles! I've always found it interesting how they evolved over the years. They had really catchy love songs in the beginning like Love Me Do and I Saw Her Standing There, but later on they sang more meaningful songs like Hey Jude, Revolution, and Let it Be.

1962
1969
My, how the fab four changed.

Wicked pepper steak...

*edit
I still remember the national moment of silence, when Lennon was killed.
Even at 10 yrs old, I realized how much of a sad, eerie day that was.

I got the remastered White Album. I also have A Hard Day's Night, Revolver, Sgt. Pepper, Magical Mystery Tour, Abbey Road and Past Masters. Of all the remasters, I think Magical Mystery Tour has the best artwork. It's also the only one of the bunch where the disc label is a replica of the old Capitol LP label with the rainbow border, while the others either replicate a Parlophone label or an Apple label.

I love that one. It's one of the best songs on the album.
