I was.... *counts*... 14 at the time, not long home from school when my sister told me what happened.
Next day, our modern studies class was herded into Mr. Reid's classroom to watch the news.
I don't think I've ever heard a class sit in silence like that before. We were all pretty stunned, and had a lot of questions which began to come out over the next few weeks, through to months, in class.
