It was a really nice Tuesday morning here, too. I remember it very well, car radio first then the television.

I feel fortunate that our College class raised a bunch of money and the whole dang lot of us filled a bus and went to NYC in 1983. I still have my ticket stub from the WTC.

I was.... *counts*... 14 at the time, not long home from school when my sister told me what happened.

Next day, our modern studies class was herded into Mr. Reid's classroom to watch the news.

I don't think I've ever heard a class sit in silence like that before. We were all pretty stunned, and had a lot of questions which began to come out over the next few weeks, through to months, in class.
