Hello good people of this forum!! I am new here but my other half Vicky (blueyes) has been a member for a while now, my name is Dean, also from the U.K.

This is the situation, I hope someone here can help!!
We have a lovely rust free 75 monaco, trouble is she is a royal with the hideaway lights, I have just brought a 1958 plymouth in bakersfield CA, now what would be out of this world is if a set of fenders, front header panel, bumper, grille and lamps could be sourced and sent to my plymouth so it can all be shipped in the car. SO, does anyone have ANYTHING that could help? All the best Dean.

Dean! It's good to see you here...I haven't been on the Christine forum lately myself, as I'm gearing everything up to finish the Bluesmobile...having just finished my son's '62 Falcon ratrod wagon (well...we still need some bumpers!:BB:), the next car project on the list is the Monaco, slightly ahead of my '57 Plymouth....http://www.bluesbrotherscentral.com/forum2/public/style_emoticons/default/icon_cool.gif

I always love seeing your cars, Dean! :P And when it comes to sources for Monaco parts, we've got quite the network here at BBC! If you need it, someone can most-likely find it! ;)

Hello and welcome to BBC! I still have some parts left over from a 74 front clip. My mechanic has it stored for me and he is checking to be sure this list is correct, but I think I have the following:
Right front fender, bumper, light assemblies, grill and parking light assembly. I am pretty sure the only thing we do not have for an entire front clip is the left front fender.
If you are interested, and can work out how to ship from me to California, I would be glad to get it over there and have your other party load up for you.
In the meantime let me have a day to get over there and put eyes and a camera on what I have for you and we will both know for sure what you are looking at.
Thanks and hope this helps.

Jamey if you have all that stuff and the fender is a good clean one, consider it all sold!!!! We will get it to CA somehow! ;) Look forward to your reply, Dean.

Dean, will get over tomorrow and shoot some photos of the stuff as we drag out of shop. I know the car it came off of was a true 74 and we parted it all out and junked the rest. main sell out of it was the factory special ordered 440 we sold to a Dukes of Hazzard fan who dropped in a charger after rebuild.
After you see pics we can work out a fair price if you like.
Glad to help!
Jamey

Hey Dean! I've seen pics of your cars over the years, courtesy of Vicky (blueyes) I suppose. :P Great stuff.

Errr umm, not to interfere with this potential transaction or anything, but I got an e-mail just today from Roblin's garage, here in Ontario, regarding a '74 2-door they have. Roblin's was going to crush all their cars but they changed their mind. For years they've had this 2-door on their website, so I asked them if they still have it. Sure 'nuff, they do. The front looks good, but like I said this pic is years old. No info on this car other than it has a "brown" (tan?) interior.

I'm really amazed that they still have it. Can't see the fenders but it could be a perfect clip donor. Although you'd probably have to buy the whole car. It's too far for me to go take a pic, but I just thought I'd pass that along.

Good find, Steam. http://www.bluesbrotherscentral.com/forum2/public/style_emoticons/default/icon_cool.gif Hey, this place is about "options"...if Dean doesn't want/can't use that one, I'm sure somebody else will! ;)

Yes, good find indeed, I will see what the parts Jamey has are like before I call roblins. If they won't part the car out I won't be able to do anything with it. If shipping was cheaper then maybe. But to get it from canada to the U.K would really remove my trousers!!

Any news on those parts Jamey?
