NEW YORK – "Saturday Night Live" will begin its fall season with two new cast members.
A person close to the show confirmed that Jenny Slate and Nasim Pedrad (NAH'-seem PEH'-drad) have joined the show. The person requested anonymity because NBC has not made an official announcement.

Both comedians have connections to the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre, the New York- and Los Angeles-based comedy theater that also birthed the careers of numerous "SNL" cast members.

Slate previously partnered with Gabe Liedman for the comedy show "Gabe & Jenny." Pedrad, born in Tehran, Iran, previously had a one-woman show, "Me, Myself & Iran."
One scary soul band as mean and righteous as a fist.

If you're referring to the entire show, I couldn't agree more. I was actually thinking it might have been the most boring SNL I've ever seen in my life. Judy Grimes was excellent, of course :D, and the f-bomb brought a moment of entertainment, other than that ... pffttt.

Bono's head seems to have physically gotten larger. I didn't think that was possible.
