Hi all!
I'm new here and I was hoping ya'll can help me!
I went to the Blues Brother's Concert in Dallas last October (it was simply amazing).

BUT I have no idea who opened for them.

Can ya'll help? They brought out a Blues Legend who was a local but I can't place him. I loved his music and wanted to buy some of it.

I thought he looked like Bo Diddley but since he got sick he only performed once (according to wikipedia) before he died and it was in November and in a different city.

If some one could help me that would so unbelievably wonderful!

This refers to the BB House of Blues opening:

"Doors open on the new club this Wednesday, May 8th with an inaugural performance by Dallas-native Erykah Badu. Then on Saturday, May 12th, House of Blues founder and original Blues Brothers member Dan Aykroyd will preside over the club's official grand opening with a special performance by the Blues Brothers Formal Classic Review, with his partner Jim Belushi. Mr. Aykroyd (a.k.a. Brother Elwood) and Mr. Belushi (a.k.a. Blood-brother Zee) will headline an evening that includes performances by Matt Guitar Murphy, Northwestern Guitar Slinger Paul Allen and The Wanda King Blues Band who is led by the daughter of the legendary Texas bluesman Freddie King."

But sadly I'm talking about the October concert! They came on the 10th and performed. They had a band warm up for them who was decent but brought on a local legend.
