Hello music people!
I am getting ready to sell off some stuff I am finding around the house, and have found all sorts of things I have no idea what they are worth, or what to do with them. Music instruments, for example...
Does anyone know of a reputable website that could list current values for different kinds of used instruments? I am thinking of something like a Kelly Blue Book site for instruments. I know that these things are so subjective, but I have no idea how or where to even start looking.
Honestly, I have no idea what the values would be. I don't want to overprice, but I'd hate to give them away for nothing.
Ideas?

Sadly, Pawn Shoppe's have such a 'book' or guide if you will. You'll need to subscribe but try the search box anyway.
Ebay is a good gauge not only on subjective worth, and desirability but true value based on the current flailing economy.
Or, if I'm a really good friend, I sure you'll make even deeper concessions...

Perfect! Thanks!
I am not sure anything is really valuable, but it may be worthwhile to check it out.
And if I dumped any of my garbage on you, Blue, I am sure you'd no longer consider me a friend... KWIM?

As Blue said, eBay is a pretty good barometer for prices and interest.
One scary soul band as mean and righteous as a fist.

Ok, a while ago I posted about this, and have finally gotten around to figuring out what I have.
An electric sitar - damaged. Sold $10
An electric guitar - damaged and not working. Sold $50
An electric bass - damaged and not working. Sold $100
And then, the jewel. The cherry on the top of the sundae...
An aluminum neck 8 string Kramer bass guitar. Mint condition in box.
SWEEEEEEET!
Sadly, I don't play. But maybe someday. And maybe my son will learn. Or it will appreciate every year...
SWEEEEEEET!
Enjoy the photos!
