Hey folks,

I uploaded a new bootleg:

https://www.yousendit.com/download/Y1RvblFEQzd0d0UwTVE9PQ

It the show the "Elwood Blues Revue" did on May 14th 1988 as part of the "Atlantic Records 40th Anniversary" at Madison Square Garden, New York.

The song list is:

01 Introduction by Dan Aykroyd
02 Last Night
03 Gee Whiz (feat. Carla Thomas)
04 Dock of the Bay (feat. Paul Rogers)
05 Try a litte Tenderness (feat. Miki Howard)
06 Tramp (feat. Carla Thomas & Paul Shaffer)
07 Everybody needs somebody to love (feat. Sam Moore)
08 Soul Man (feat. Sam Moore)
09 I've been loving you to long (feat. Sam Moore)
10 You don't know like I know (feat. Sam Moore & Phil Collins)
11 Knock on Wood (feat. Sam Moore & Phil Collins)
12 Midnight Hour (feat. Wilson Pickett)

(This is also the order in which they performed the songs.)

The Elwood Blues Revue are:

Elwood Blues-Vocals and Harmonica
Sam Moore-Lead Vocals
Steve Cropper-Guitar
Donald Duck Dunn-Bass
Paul Shaffer-Keyboards
Anton Fig-Drums
Sid McGuinness-Guitar
Lou Marini-Sax
Alan Rubin-Trumpet
Tom Malone-Trombone
Tom Scott-Sax

Two songs from their set are missing.
Rufus Thomas with "Walking the Dog"
and a deut between Elwood and Wilson Pickett on "Land of a 1000 dances"

I'm also not sure if they backed Ruth Brown on "Teardrops from my eyes".

If some one comes up with those songs i would love to add them to the bootleg.

I also made a little cover for the bootleg. Hope you like that one too.

Maybe Chris can upload it to the page.

So that's where "You Don't Know Like I Know" comes from as a BB tune in the Wired movie (done a year after this concert). It's a pretty good tune, I have to say.

Here's the duet between Elwood and Wilson Pickett, I just uploaded it:

YouTube - Elwood Blues Revue w/ Wilson Pickett perform "Land of 1000 Dances" Atlantic Records 40th Anniversary

The video I have doesn't have the Rufus Thomas "Walking the Dog" on it, so I can't help there!

Thanks, Soul Man.

Though any chance someone could fire up something that is Linux-friendly (zip and rar are good, friendly types)? Stuffit is for Windows only, and requires the .Net framework. x_x

EDIT:: Uhm, not to be a total nuisance, but you simply zipped the StuffIt File and NOT what was *in* the StuffIt file. >.>; And despite attempts to make stuffit run on Linux, it ain't having any of it. Please can you try zipping the files that were *inside* the stuffit file (I'm sure it'd have made a folder, right?) and uploading, rather than simple zipping the stuffit file?
