They're still out there. Thank God the derby guys didn't get a crack at this one. Are you gonna keep both and do the P1, P2 thing?

Scan over the post's because some have much better inspiring ways to go about making the Bluesmobile, but since you live in Chi'land I can tell you that the P1 color can be had real nice by going to ACE hardware, make sure you buy the Ace brand Almond the little white label on the back says Almond Ace, thats a real good outta the can P1 color. If you want fade looks ask Bismo or some other guys but extra coats then a brillo pad seem to work nice. By all means go w/ gloss! even outta the can, dirt and a little sun will fade it, thus looking more natural then the quick flat, granted flat looks good, I just think you'll see the diff' Good luck!

LOL!!
How difficult is it to find a 440 these days? I'm pretty sure the folks in NC with the '76 Bluesmobile for sale, also have two 440's for sale.

The trouble is the engines on there are on one extreme or the other.
They either need a lot of work.. or are on the expensive side.
Not many sellers are willing to ship them either.
Most are "Pick up only".
