Do you meen Bluesmobile Crown Vics, or other police Crown Vics used in the movie? A company called Walsh's in Toronto built the Bluesmobiles for the movie. They also have a large collection of movie rental cars including police cars. Some of those rental cars may have been in both movies. When I was at Walsh's, I saw quite a few cars that I recognized from various TV shows and movies. The Bluesmobiles were made specifically for BB2000 and weren't in any other films. One Bluesmobile, #1, was painted white and crushed by a monster truck in the "State Fair" scene. All others remained Bluesmobiles. (also, Chicago PD never used 88-91 Crown Vics, so that movie got it wrong!) If you search for Walsh's in Toronto, all it looks like from the street is a gas station. All the cars are in a lot behind the building.

The cars from Due South were supplied by a picturecar company called Avonhill in Toronto not HW picturecars who supplied BB2K....in fact there are no Chicago cars in BB2K.
While Avonhill went out of business many years ago , HW picturecars (Walshs) is still in business and still supplying cars for many productions , however Bill Walsh and Bill & Son towing never had anything to do with HW picturecars that company is and always has been owned by Hubert Walsh. Bill & Son did almost all the towing for BB2K as you can see on my flickr page ( to qualify my comments..I once worked for Bill & Son then moved over to HWPC and for many years ran that company for Hubert including supplying all the vehicles in BB2K ) Blues Brothers 2000 - a set on Flickr

Thanks for the input Bill !!!! Awesome info!
When in doubt go straight to the horse's mouth eh!
The pics are a treat too! There are some I didn't have of ole 57. The one's where she's covered in snow looks so inviting now. It's in the 90's with 1,000% humidity at the moment...
