Holy lord, I didn't think anyone actually read that. We were in junior high and early high school when we came up with those. I did most of the writing. It was going to end up that it wasn't really John, but some kind of demon or evil spirit that had taken the form of his ghost, and the real John was trapped in another dimension.

I am flattered...I think.
If I have it, it's on paper only in my keepsake trunk. I will try to remember to look for it, but I don't promise anything. I took it offline, then I've had several hard drive crashes/reformats since then.
I will, however, shoot off an email to the friend I wrote it with to see if she has a digital copy. It will only be the first two parts since I never did finish it as a "trilogy".

So I'm not purposely holding out, I just haven't gotten to it. I don't know why anyone wants it anyway, it's embarassingly Sue-filled. More than our old "Texas Blues Saga."

And about your "so-called friend..." She dropped the fandom? What is her major malfunction?

She "grew up" and out of it, I guess. I never really did figure it out. She started acting kinda bitter about it, like I'd forced it on her or something. I don't know, I could be totally off-base, but that's how it came across to me.

Maybe she felt that she had to like them in order to be one of the cool kids?

Considering we were the uncool kids, probably not.

Hoping it will let me attach a ZIP file. Inside it are the HTML pages pulled straight off of EGBB, parts 1 and 2. I wondered if I should write up...something to finalize it. If I did, it would probably under 5 chapters...and only posted to this forum. And don't take any of this musing as any kind of promise.

Background 53 by *AlbaStock on deviantART
The outside looked like utter crap like this, but when you went inside it had been all fancied up and was much bigger inside than it should have been, and doors to the outside didn't work properly once you got inside unless JB wanted it to.
I had also written a swimming pond/lake in the backyard of this place -- a mostly dry pit in the ground next to a dead tree when you first arrived, nice green grass and full of cool water with a willow tree and a rope swing when JB lets the Sue Crew outside. In the above picture you can kind of see some sort of water in the background behind the house.
I just thought it was a cool find that I'd share with anyone who cared to know.
