I had a really bad thought.

When Elwood spent 18 years in the Pen, he read books and gleaned more insight than he knew what to do with.
He seemed to have lost his edginess (and accent) and matured into a more contributing adult.
He became a mentor and busted Buster on the evils of smoking.

Herein lies my concern. If BB3 is written as a continuation in the timeline as opposed to a prequel, what’s to say Elwood doesn’t go ‘green’?
I mean what if he matures and becomes overly responsible, not only to the family of man but also the environment and Mother Earth..?

What if the new Bluesmobile is a Prius???

Would ensuing police chases involve AT Bicycles...

or Segway PT’s??

I didn’t sleep too well after this moment of lucidity…

Well, that would mean:

-high speed persuits at 15mph
-no cigarette-lighters
-no thrown rods (even the Prius could go on with electricity)
-definitely NO magic at all

WHAT a nightmare that was.
I feel with you Blue.

But imagine that maybe there's a chance for broken watches when riding Segways at full speed through crowded malls

O.O Dang. I feel with you Blue, too. That sounds like a H*ll of a nightmare....and even to imagine it..it'd be like: The Green Blues Brothers....*shudders* not saying going green is bad I just can't imagine Elwood doing it.

That's actually kinda funny, I can imagine a mall chase with those little Sedways, it would be funny if it was speed up and they playe yakety sax, but only for a little bit.
I can see where that would be a very frightening thought....*shudders* A whole movie like that would give me nightmares...

Now, that'd be IT...
What a thought.
Imagine Elwood, fairly aged, knitting on his new knit pullover wearing dungarees sitting round a table having tea...

Then Elwood wakes up screaming from the horror, and gets into his gas guzzler to drive away the heebie-jeebies.
