I got a 74 grille if anyone needs it. I can tell you though that the grilles don't interchange without changing the bracket it mounts to.

There's also little differences other than noted here . Like on a 74 the rear view mirror is attached to the sun visor holder where the 75 is on the windshield . The speedo numbers are different , where the 0's are smaller on the 74 . Horn ring on 74 steering wheel . Catalytic converters started on 75 models ( not all I have seen ) . Some of the seat patterns and door panels have different stitch patterns . And pretty sure the rear sway bars started on the police models in 75 .

Horn ring on 74 steering wheel.
Interesting! All '74 models had the horn ring? Mine's got it, but I assumed it was a Brougham fancy-pants detail. Elwood is clearly pushing on the spokes as he sped through the mall. I thought my horn was broken for several days when I first got the car.

...then one day I was mindlessly picking at the rubber ring, and couldn't figure out who was honking at me!

Was Elwood fake-honking in the movie?

Or maybe my horn is broken. Mine only honks at the steering wheel rim. Is that correct?

No , its found on the 3 spokes . I don't have a picture . There silver bars that connect the spokes together on the bottom of the wheel . You can either push those or the center of the wheel to beep the horn . The rubber ring in the inner part of the wheel is called a rim blow horn . Thought that was an older model option , could be wrong and probably are .

Also the "440 four barrel 440" decal is for a 74 , and the "440 cu" is for the 75 . Not a biggie but just a little more info . Thats if you " got a 440 cubic inch plant " .
