I don't really know what you mean by "ska" band, but the song was originally performed by Otis Redding.(I should get that record)

Ska is a type of music, kind of a cross between reggae and rock I think. Think of 'Groove Me' in double time...

I didn't know anyone had covered it in a ska style!

The Band is called "Lord Tanoma & the Specials" I got the song on a sampler. It's called "Best of Ska" it's 6 CD-set. But I'm from germany ond that's why I don't knw if you get it in the USA.
"Sly and the Family Stone" also did a version that's a little bit ska-like.
