When you compare them, they are pretty different in tone, the 1st is a lot funnier i think.

A ridiculous question the 1st one obviously, it has "The Blues Brothers"-Jake n Elwood. Its the definitive Elwood performance, Dan Aykroyd never played him cooler than in the first movie; in the 2nd one he's like an embarassing Dad or something plus the 1st one didnt have any of that witch nonsense...so to sum up I prefer the 1st one lol

Blues Brothers 200 is my favorite.

Ok I can't even keep a straight face while saying that! The Blues Brothers is the movie I like most. But don't get me wrong, I do strongly adore Blues Brothers 2000.
