She wasn't from Australia, I believe she was from Denmark. Annie Lysebjerg was her name (I think I'm spelling that correctly!)

I don't think she's had anything to do with the Blues Brothers for 10 years, maybe she lost interest and that's why she wanted to get rid of the website?
Well hello there. Funny enough to come across this forum post (actually my mom pointed it too me, for som very odd reason)

You most definitely got the name and country right. I do remember that horrible site, I had a number at the time -as most people had in the early days. And I also remember felling that it was just too much work to keep it going. So thanks for taking over :BB:

I'm still very much a Blues Brothers fan - just not so active online as I used to be.

Cheers
Annie

Yea Yahoo groups suck and so did MSN. I belonged to a few and it seemed like there was always problems with the site. It wasn't that the members didn't want to be active, the sites just had so many technical difficulties and then MSN just got rid of them completely which didn't hurt my feelings any. I'm sitll with my Are You Being Served? site on Yahoo and believe it or not we're pretty active. It's only with due diligience that Minki Roo the AYBS? site owner that we've not gone down. It is a lot of work to keep one of these things up and active. I tried to do a MYSPACE and FACEBOOK but honestly, its a PITA to keep adding stuff. My sister-in-law and I use FACEBOOK so she can send me pics and clips of the kids' various sports activities and dancing recitals. Kayla is in TOE this year.

This site rocks. The links all work and I'm beginning to find my way around. I finally figured out how to add a friend tonight sorry Dixie I finally added you!

Well welcome to da site any way we're glad to have anyone that likes the BB. We don't care what race, creed, color, age, sexual persuasion you are (to paraphrase a line from Supernatural Season 1 Episode 8 entitled Bugs). ;)

Very cool. Thanks for the progression of the history of the site. I actually remember that 2003 version and by the time I came back to actually join years later, I didn't know it was the same site. I thought I was joining a whole different one and wondered whatever happened to that "other one." Regardless the format, you always had some good choices for colors and thought the last 2 were neck-and-neck as the best. Keep up the good work.
The use of unecessary violence in the apprehension of the Blues Brothers.... Has been approved.
